Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: January 1, 2025

By participating in the Firehub Cash Prize Program (the “Program”), you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:

1. Eligibility​

  • Participants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of the competition.
  • Participation is open to individuals worldwide, subject to local laws and restrictions.
  • No purchase is necessary to enter or win.

2. Qualifying Competitions​

To qualify for a cash prize, participants must:

  • Compete in a public spicy contest or festival with a live audience physically present.
  • Wear the official Firehub shirt throughout the competition and post-event celebration.
  • Contact Firehub in advance to confirm the competition tier classification (Amateur, Extreme, or Ultra).
  • Submit a complete, unedited video of the full competition from start to winner announcement.
  • Email the video link to winner@firehub.io within 30 days of the event.

3. Prize Tiers & Payments​

Participants who meet all eligibility requirements may qualify for the following cash prizes:

  • Amateur Tier: $100 USD
  • Extreme Tier: $250 USD
  • Ultra Tier: $500 USD

All prizes are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to verification by Firehub.

All prizes are subject to verification, availability, and remaining program funds.

Annual Prize Cap: Total prize payouts for 2026 are limited to $2,000 USD. Once the cap is reached, no further prizes will be issued.

Individual Prize Limit: Each participant may claim a maximum of three (3) Firehub Cash Prize wins per calendar year, regardless of competition tier.

4. Shirt Request Policy​

Participants must request the official Firehub shirt at least 14 days before their competition date. Shirts are distributed free of charge, while supplies last. Firehub is not responsible for delays in shipping or non-delivery.

5. Tax Responsibility​

All prize recipients are solely responsible for reporting and paying any applicable local, state, federal, or international taxes.

6. Health Disclaimer & Waiver​

Competitive chili eating may involve serious health risks, including but not limited to gastrointestinal distress, allergic reactions, or injury.

By participating, you acknowledge these risks and voluntarily assume full responsibility. You release and hold harmless Firehub, its affiliates, sponsors, and employees from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of your participation.

7. Video & Media Rights​

By submitting footage to Firehub, you grant Firehub a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, edit, reproduce, and distribute the video and related content for promotional, editorial, and commercial purposes.

8. Verification & Disqualification​

Firehub reserves the right to:

  • Verify the authenticity of submitted videos and competition events
  • Disqualify participants for any falsification or failure to meet program criteria
  • Reclassify competition tiers if discrepancies are found

9. Modifications & Termination​

Firehub may update, modify, or terminate this Program or these terms at any time without notice. Any changes will be posted at Terms & Conditions and will apply prospectively.
