Firehub Cash Prize

At Firehub, LLC ("Firehub"), the Firehub Cash Prize is a program that provides cash awards to competitors who win qualifying spicy eating competitions, subject to eligibility requirements and verification.

Under the Firehub Cash Prize, eligible competitors who wear the official Firehub shirt and win a qualifying competition may receive a cash award based on the applicable prize tier.

Firehub Cash Prize Tiers​

The Firehub Cash Prize is structured across multiple competition tiers. Prize amounts are determined based on the characteristics of the qualifying competition.

  • 🌶️ Amateur Tier – $100 USD
    For pepper competitions, mostly hot peppers are accompanied by a small amount of super-hot peppers. The length of the competition may vary depending on the competition format. All other spicy competitions typically fall into this category (hot wings, ramen, pizza, donuts, etc).
  • 🌶️🌶️ Extreme Tier – $250 USD
    The extreme tier is reserved exclusively for pepper competitions. Extreme pepper competitions focus mostly on super-hot peppers. Fewer SHU peppers are used than in amateur competitions. The length of the competition is typically longer than Amateur Tier events.
  • 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️ Ultra Tier – $500 USD
    Ultra endurance competitions are almost all super hot peppers with focus on stamina and bulk eating of extreme peppers. These competitions typically involve extended endurance-based formats.

Note: The 2026 prize pool is capped at $2,000. Prize availability is subject to verification and remaining program funds.

How to Qualify​

To be eligible for the Firehub Cash Prize, competitors must meet the following requirements:

  • Be 18+ years old
  • Wear the official Firehub shirt (the shirt is provided free of charge — request it at least 14 days before your event; while supplies last)
  • Compete at a public event or festival with a live audience
  • Submit a full, unedited video of the competition from start to winner announcement
  • Keep the Firehub shirt on throughout the match and post-event celebration
  • Contact Firehub in advance to confirm your competition level (Amateur, Extreme, or Ultra)
  • Within 30 days of winning, email winner@firehub.io a link to the video. Prizes are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • No purchase necessary
  • Each competitor may earn up to three Firehub Cash Prize wins per calendar year.

Firehub reserves the right to verify and classify competitions.

Monthly Raffle​

Firehub conducts a monthly raffle for eligible competition submissions that do not result in a qualifying win.

Each month, up to three (3) participants may be selected at random to receive a $50 USD award, subject to eligibility requirements and verification.

Participants are automatically included in the raffle by submitting a qualifying competition video in accordance with the program requirements.

Important Notice​

Competitive chili eating may involve serious health risks. Participation is voluntary, and by participating, individuals acknowledge and accept these risks and release Firehub, LLC from liability related to injury, illness, or other outcomes.

Prizes are not guaranteed and are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to verification and availability. Total Firehub Cash Prize payouts for the 2026 calendar year are capped at $2,000 USD.

Participants must request the official Firehub shirt at least 14 days prior to their competition date. Shirt availability is limited and not guaranteed.
