This guide explains what content is visible on the platform depending on profile settings, group settings, and your relationship to them.

Profiles (People)
A profile represents a person on the platform.
Profiles can be:
- Public
- Private
Groups
A group is a shared space owned by an account.
Groups can also be:
- Public
- Private
To see private group content, you must be a member of that group.
Profile Visibility
Public Profiles
If a profile is public, anyone can see:
- The profile page
- Public activity (check-ins, achievements, videos, etc.)
- Public collections
You do not need to follow the profile.
Private Profiles
If a profile is private, visibility depends on your relationship:

Following must be active. Pending or removed follows do not grant access.
Group Visibility
Public Groups
If a group is public, anyone can see:
- The group page
- Group activity
- Group products
You do not need to join the group.
Private Groups
If a group is private, visibility depends on membership:

Only active members can see private group content.
What You Always See
No matter the settings:
- You can always see your own profile
- You can always see your own activity
- You can always see content you created yourself
You generally retain access to your own content, unless it belongs to a group where your membership has ended.
